نشرت جريدة المصرى اليوم بتاريخ 23 أكتوبر خبرا عن سكان مساكن إيواء بالدويقة لتردى أحوال البلوكات نظرا لتسريب مياه الصرف بالخرسانة و تصدع البلوكات.
يذكر أنه قد صدر قرار بإخلاء البلوكات عام 2005 بدلا من قرار بالترميم، و أن أحد اللاجئين أقام فى مأواه المؤقت هذا لمدة ثلاثون عام

An article in October 23rd's Al Masr Al Youm reported that 200 people were protesting about being evacuated - with out their belongings - by the local council from their government issue disaster shelters because of the pronounced state of decay these shelters are in.
Some have been there temporarily for as long as thirty years.
- Where is the government investigation in to how and why buildings under it's own management have been allowed to reach such an advanced sate of decay and become in the process dangerous to live in.
- the articel did not carry any mention as to where the families were being moved to, and what arrangements have been made for them.
